Musa Adedeji Balogun

Mr Balogun graduated from the University of Nigeria as an accountant and proceeded to Lagos State University to obtain an MBA in Human Resources Management.

He started his career in security with LNG Bonny, Nigeria, as a loss prevention officer and moved around all units within six years. After working as team lead in the security investigation unit, Mr Balogun left the company for another position at Chevron Nigeria Limited, where he was seconded to another LNG project by Chevron, British Gas, Shell and NNPC.

For a period of seven years, he served as a team lead at the OKLNG project before returning to the Chevron Security Service Division to lead the team in Abuja as Security Coordinator. Mr Balogun served there for another seven years before being transferred to the Chevron Headquarters, where he currently leads the investigation team.

Dr Ron Martin

Ron is a decorated security professional with extensive experience in the armed forces and public service. He has worked with multiple government agencies to implement strategies for the development of critical security infrastructure, receiving multiple awards for his contribution to cyber security and law enforcement.

One of the associations to which he belongs is the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), an organization dedicated to raising awareness on best practices and strategies that ensure a secure cloud computing environment. He is also a member of the ASIS International Standards Committee. ASIS is an organization responsible for the development of standards and guidelines to assist the needs of security professionals in the global environment.

Throughout his career, Dr Martin has dedicated his time to service, pushing the envelope on integrating new systems that can help secure information critical to community development. However, one way he has genuinely served the international community is by providing training programs for security professionals and technology enthusiasts. These programs help the community both by providing the knowledge to make changes in security infrastructure and providing individuals the skills necessary to gain employment in the information sector.

IFEOMA VALERIE ODI-OKAFOR


Chairperson

Ifeoma is a seasoned administrator, project manager and a business entrepreneur with varied experience spanning over 30 years of impact in various sectors and business ventures.

While living in Johannesburg South Africa in the late 2000s, she began a high-class restaurant which had its uniqueness in its excellent service and fine Nigerian cuisine. She also worked as a marketing consultant at INNEGIZE, a wellness and healthcare company. Moving back to Nigeria, her passion for developing others has shone through in her work as project manager and consultant for companies such as SkyHigh Ventures Ltd, SRC Recruits Ltd and Hedgeworth Pro Consult, where she oversaw training projects for the Military spouses and dependents in over 15 Nigerian states.

Asides her successful corporate career, she is also living her dream of working with young people. She has a desire to help correct the ills and moral decadence that has become a norm among the newer generation. She is the convener of an organization called SOUL'D OUT YOUTH COMMUNITY. The Community seeks the betterment of the youth within the group and their community at large, regularly organizing various kinds of outreaches to help the under-privileged in the rural areas and the Nigerian Correctional facilities.

Ifeoma is one of the founding members of AFRICA FOUNDATION FOR SYSTEM INTEGRATION, where she serves as the Chairman. She is also currently working a program officer at a non-governmental organization (NGO) SURE 4U RESCURE AND RESETTLEMENT INITIATIVE. This is a Not- for -Profit, working in collaboration with relevant stakeholders in discouraging trafficking in persons and smuggling of migrants, whilst providing psychosocial and other needed assistance to returning migrants.

Ifeoma's commitment to excellence continues to propel her, giving herself fully to her work. She lets passion and grace drive her work and her friendly nature, good communication skills, resilience and exuberance keep her associations of all ages wholly engaged.

Olisaemeka Chike Odi-Okafor (Ollie)


Operations Officer

Ollie has worked as a creative writer and music producer in several entertainment companies both in Nigeria and abroad. He studied music technology at the Emendy Multimedia Institute in Pretoria, South Africa. Mr Okafor has established himself as a remarkable business developer with a proven track record of introducing innovative ideas to grow businesses, attract talented individuals, and manage projects.

Upon leaving his job at Beta Ride Nigeria, a luxury car rental company, he took some time out to focus on his writing career, creating a blog through which he expressed his views on politics, business, and lifestyle.

In July 2023, Ollie was named the Operations Officer for the African Foundation for System Integration (AF4SI) by Dr Ron Martin CPP, Trustee of the foundation. AF4SI was established in 2020 to bring peace and prosperity to African countries through the promotion of free enterprise and security solutions.

The primary focus for 2023 is to establish training programs for individuals, private organizations, and public institutions. These training programs will seek to educate individuals on both physical and cyber aspects of security. The curriculums are designed with the uniqueness of the security climate in Africa taken into consideration, and threats to security from low to high priority are anticipated and accounted for.
